Monaghan United supporters will get an early Christmas present as the fixtures for the 2012 Airtricity League Premier Division season will be released on Thursday 22 December.
The fixtures will released on the Airtricity League website tomorrow at 2pm. The site today reported:
“The fixtures will apply to the Premier Division only, as the Airtricity League has received applications from prospective new clubs to gain entry to the First Division. Due to the licensing process involved for prospective new clubs, the First Division fixtures will be published when the licensing process is complete on February 12, 2012. All fixtures, both Premier and First Division will be subject to the final decisions of the FAI Licensing Committee.”
