A delighted Noel was over the moon at his win. In collecting the cheque Noel, who with his late father Tony, was a great supporter of Monaghan United in the League of Ireland, wore his late father’s Club scarf at the presentation. Noel and Tony, as well as being regular supporters at Gortakeegan, travelled to many away games together through the years and he has many great memories of those times.
Everyone at the club congratulates Noel on his great win. Noel maintains he has the secret of the game but is keeping it close to his chest. He will be going for it again in the next “Last Man Standing” likely to be launched after Christmas.
