Nicola Costin and Paddy McElvaney of the Monaghan United Supporters club took time out during a recent trip to Malta to exchanging club scarfs and other gifts with club and board members of Roddy Collins’ old club, Floriana F.C. of Malta on the eve of their cup final success against local rivals Valletta – former club of United striker Declan O’Brien – last Saturday. Paddy would like to thank Roddy Collins for setting this exchange up and congratulations to Floriana on beating Valletta to win their first trophy in 17 years.
